The Coterie Beauty Collective is a Sustainable Hair and Beauty Salon based in Guelph, Ontario.
At the core of The Coterie Beauty Collective, there is a deep passion for hair artistry, natural beauty, innovative creativity, and sustainability practices that honour the environment. To bring this vision to life, Coterie partnered with Erika Whitley Design to develop a contemporary brand identity and stylized website for the exciting launch of their vintage-inspired boutique hair and beauty salon.
‘Coterie’ refers to a group of individuals with a unifying interest.
Branding
I designed a custom script font with elements of connectivity and curved edges, paired with a minimal typeface — a nod to the company’s environmentally clean practices as a certified Green Circle Salon.
Website
The website emphasizes company values and encourages online bookings with call-to-action buttons throughout. I created a modern colour palette to compliment Coterie’s brand photography and 70s-inspired aesthetic.
